Mary J. Blidge pays homage to R&B Music Legends Frankie Beverly and Maze, along wit other celebs such as KEM, Musiq Soulchid and Joe to name few. Blidge does a stellar rendition of the Maze hit single "Before I let Go" which was originally released back in 1982 via Capitol Records. Athony Beverly, Frankie Beverly's son, along with singers Vanessa Williams and Ledisi joined forces to produce the album. The cd which is titled "Silky Soul Music . . . An All-Star Tribute to Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly" was released digitally last friday, and will be available for purchase in stores on Sep. 29th.
